Virtual reality is the next big thing in gaming, and Xbox One is at the forefront. Rather than being tethered to a PC like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, you can simply connect your headset to your Xbox One and be transported to another world.

What you’ll need
Before you can start playing, you’ll need to make sure you have everything you need. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

– A controller
Once you have everything, you’re ready to get started.
Setting up your headset
1. Connect the HDMI cable from your Xbox One to the HDMI input on your headset.
2. Connect the USB cable from your Xbox One to the USB input on your headset.
3. Put on your headset and adjust the straps for a comfortable fit.
4. Press the power button on your headset to turn it on.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
Once you’ve completed the setup process, you’re ready to start playing.
Playing games in virtual reality
There are a few different ways to play games in virtual reality. You can use your controller like you would for any other game, or you can use the Oculus Touch controllers that come with the Oculus Rift.
If you’re using your controller, you’ll need to hold down the menu button and select “Enable VR Mode.” This will enable the virtual reality mode for your controller.
If you’re using the Oculus Touch controllers, you’ll need to hold down the menu button and select “Enable Oculus Touch.” This will enable the Oculus Touch controllers for your headset.
Once you’ve enabled virtual reality mode, you can start playing any game that supports it. To find out if a game supports virtual reality, you can check the game’s description on the Xbox Store.
You can also use your headset to watch movies and TV shows in virtual reality. To do this, you’ll need to launch the Movies & TV app from your Xbox One. Once the app is launched, you’ll need to select the “VR” tab from the menu.
From here, you can browse for movies and TV shows that you want to watch. Once you’ve found something that you want to watch, you can select it and press the “Play” button.
You can also use your headset to browse the web in virtual reality. To do this, you’ll need to launch the Edge app from your Xbox One. Once the app is launched, you’ll need to select the “VR” tab from the menu.
From here, you can browse the web just like you would on your PC. You can even watch videos on YouTube in virtual reality.
To exit virtual reality mode, you can press the menu button on your controller and select “Disable VR Mode.” This will disable the virtual reality mode for your controller.
If you’re using the Oculus Touch controllers, you can press the menu button and select “Disable Oculus Touch.” This will disable the Oculus Touch controllers for your headset.
