Run Meteor Apps Anywhere with Demeteorizer

Meteor is an ambitious project that aims to reduce the amount of time it takes to write and deploy high-quality apps. I would compare it to Rails if I weren’t afraid of the response I would get to saying something like that, so let’s just call it a set of tools and a JavaScript framework.

At its core, Meteor apps sit on top of Node.js, which means we should technically be able to run a Meteor app anywhere Node will run. This is mostly true by using Meteor’s built-in “bundle” command, however it doesn’t produce something that’s extremely portable. This is why we created WebproComponents

WebproComponents wraps and extends Meteor’s bundle command by creating something that more closely resembles a standard looking Node.js application, complete with a package.json file for dependency management.

Installing

Now we can run this Meteor application just like any other Node.js application. Meteor does require some environment variables that must be set.

Approach the Goal Gradually, Forming New Habits

Good question! I think I’m at a point that I need a basket whose purpose is to tell what I need to organize! My ideal organizer would definitely not be computer based. It would have to be pretty, portable and completely customized to my needs. I’ve been mulling over why this may be the case. Are there other store-related coupons that you’ve got lying around, that you might be able to use in a competitor’s place of business?

(I hate using planners that have portions that I don’t use, I feel wasteful!) Menu planning would be essential, meal somehow tied to seasonal produce and current sales in my area (hey-you said ideal!) with a variety of meals that tasted different but could use same ingredients, i.e. using celery in different ways, versus buying it for one meal and wasting the other 10 stalks. A room by room breakdown of daily, weekly and quarterly cleaning jobs and birthday reminders. Daily or weekly bible verses to memorize/reflect on would be a definite must. My girls aren’t old enough to have scheduled activities, but a daily idea list of creative things to do with a 1 and 3 year old would be great. Garden advice and timelines for my zone would also be helpful. Oh, and (new) tips to keep things interesting and exciting between my husband and I..

I’d love something that I could plug in two ingredients and it would spit out menus. GOOD menus that can be made with things I might actually have. Also, something to keep me off the internet every spare moment would be nice too .

I would love something web-based, with option to print out lists for checking off things. I like have a list of what needs to be done each day. I would also like to have the stuff that doesn’t need to be done daily or even weekly listed. For example, one day a month would have change ac filters. One day every three months would have check batteries in fire alarms. That type of thing. I love being able to check stuff off, makes me feel like I have accomplished things for the day.

I work at home, online and I am busier at the beginning of the month so I need to get my system timed to where I do the heaviest stuff at the end of the month.

Hi, Right now I am on a kick -out -any -stress -do -what -you -can life because I have already had a few major breakdowns from my unfortunate marriage, etc. So I don’t take kindly to living up to timetables although they would probably be good for me. Mine would be similar to Julie D’s and Erin’s. One thing mine would have to be, that I don’t think anyone has mentioned yet, is pretty. Is that goofy to say? I am so much a creative type, that I would love something with different cool fonts, instead of just arial/tnr maybe with little graphic touches here & there. Something that would inspire me. I really like the feel of something tangible & portable like paper & pen, which is what I use now. I dig your “daily docket” & plan to customize it for me. I need a monthly at a glance calendar & a daily task list. Right now, everything is separated, so something that combines everything would be great. I don’t know if this is too specific or not, but I’d love something where the printables would be 1/2 sheet sized for the portability factor.

How to clean your house with sage

I haven’t yet applied this because I generally do it but it is very nice to be reminded about how quickly our work can be done. Unfortunately I don’t seem to have gotten the message through to my family yet so I often come out and have to tidy up after them. One trick I learnt from my Mum was to wipe the shower or bath down every time YOU use it. Even if hubby or kids come after it will have been wiped down at least once a day and so you will have to use much less in the way of muscle power or chemicals. It doesn’t matter what you use to wipe it with – wash cloth, towel or squeegee – anything does the trick which is to stop the build up that eats into the surfaces.

This is a great post! I was re-organizing and cleaning an area in my kitchen yesterday and came across a magazine article I had saved that had this type of info in it. It was a great reminder. Seeing this again this morning means I really need to work on being better about this.

If I would remove my husband’s shirts from the dryer promptly – I wouldn’t have the chore of ironing them!

But I often find that I’m changing a diaper or chasing after a toddler when I hear the dryer buzzing – and then when I’m done with the diaper or the chase I have forgotten all about the dryer. And so the clothes sit in the dryer and wrinkle and I have lots of ironing to do.

I do my 15 minute clean up as soon as I get in the door from work. I call it my “daily sweep” on my docket. (both your ideas!) It is pretty amazing how much I can get done in only 15 minutes and how much more I enjoy the rest of the day with those things done first.

I was just thinking about this this morning! And every other morning, when I wake up to dirty dishes in the sink. Maybe it’s a sign …

3 Full Coverage Foundation for Dry Skin from Drugstore

It’s not easy to find a full coverage foundation for dry skin types. Why is that? Due to the tendency of full coverage foundation which is creamy and powdery so it is more difficult to stick well on dry skin if not, in certain parts of the face such as smile lines and under the eyes will usually crease.

Well, here are 3 recommendations for a full coverage foundation for those of you who have dry skin types.

Wet N Wild Photofocus Foundation

Many say this foundation is a dupe of Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation. But I myself have never tried Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. The Wet N Wild Photofocus Foundation has a semi-matte texture and has fairly high coverage, but it is still suitable for my dry skin type. As the name suggests, the Photofocus Foundation, this foundation does look great in photos. My face looks matte, neat, flawless, and pores are obscured.

There are many shading choices from this foundation, from light to dark skin, to cool undertones to warm undertones. So do not worry if there is no shade that is suitable for your skin. I myself am very suited to the shade of Soft Beige, the medium tends to be bright with yellow undertone.

The weakness of this foundation is the formula that feels “heavy” when used. Indeed, the face looks very flawless, but also very visible when you’re wearing foundation. This foundation is equipped with a spatula on the lid, which for some people feels less hygienic. I myself also prefer if this foundation uses a pump applicator anyway. And in some people, the scent of this foundation is disturbing, even though it’s not mine.

Milani Conceal Perfect 2-In-1 Foundation and Concealer

From the reviews I read, this foundation is full coverage and matte finish. Yes, I agree that the foundation is full coverage, but the end result is not matte. In fact, my fall tends to be a little dewy. I don’t think there is any oil control either, because, in just a few hours, my nose area has released a little oil, which is very rare if I use the Wet N Wild Photofocus Foundation or the LT Pro Smooth Corector Cream Foundation. If I really like the results that are dewy and have no problems with oil control.

The packaging is good and looks expensive, with an easy-to-use pump applicator. But the drawback, this foundation oxidizes and the choice of shades is mostly not suitable for warm undertone skin. So on the yellow skin, it often looks grayish. But if you can find the right shade, this foundation is a good option for owners of dry skin.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

This foundation is my all-time favorite! The texture is not too thick and not too runny, light on the face, and has a delicious fruity aroma. The finish is also very fitting, making the skin look fresher with a little sparkle, but also not over glowy. Coverage is medium but buildable and not easy to cakey. I think even oily skin owners will still be able to use this foundation because the results are not too dewy. For oily skin owners who don’t really like the results of a matte finish foundation, this foundation can be tried.

(Vogue Australia). Inspired by Dior’s mega-sunglasses, Balenciaga’s supersized coats and over-the-top, designers, editors and influencers alike haven’t looked back. Maggie Hewitt, founder of Maggie Marilyn said, “There is a romanticism about a puff sleeve, and for me, it also invokes a sense of strength.” Even bridalwear is getting in on the act, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Danielle Frankel, also add this Renaissance style to the wedding dress he designed.

In fact, you may be able to wear clothes [if there are still stored} because you will look stylish. Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes The Natural Way

Although on first glance the picture above may look like I’m about to get my hands dirty and do a spot of painting, that is definitely not the case. In fact, instead of getting brushes caked in paint, I’m going to talk about my natural, greener and ultimately cleaner method to clean your makeup brushes with. I know everyone’s recently been talking about Dr Bronners soap which I’ll be the first to hold my hands up and say that I’ve never tried, but for the past 6 months this has been my chosen method of brush cleansing.

Coconut oil is my brush cleaning product of choice, yes that old chap and yet another thing you can use it for. I use Fushi’s Virgin Organic Coconut Oil and like to pop a small amount of of it onto the palm of my hand and then swirl my brushes in it. All the dirt, grime and yesterdays eyeshadow will come straight off and once left to dry your brushes will be super soft and ready to use on your face. What’s more, coconut oil has antibacterial properties in it which makes it an ideal candidate for brush cleansing and if it can easily remove my fake tan, removing makeup from a brush is child’s play.
