Everyone loves a good nosy inside a girls bag don't they? I know I do! In fact WIMH is one of my favourite websites. Now, if someone was to ask me whether I was a shoe or a handbag girl I'd immediately say both. I have far too many shoes (I'll do a post featuring my walk-in-wardrobe one day, I promise) but I tend to spend a lot more money on handbags. Most of my shoes are either Kurt Geiger or Topshop, whereas all of my handbags bar one, a lovely structured black Zara number, are by much more expensive designers.
So this is my bag. She's a Mulberry Bayswater in Oak.
Let's lift the lid and show you what's inside shall we?
I'm usually pretty good with keeping my bag free from junk, unless I use my Celine which could quite possibly hold the entire contents of my walk-in-wardrobe, it's like Narnia in there, seriously! But since I've been using this little lady recently I'm a lot more minimalistic with what I carry around.
Let's start off with the boring stuff. I've got my keys which have my apartment key, key fob, Tesco club card etc, a black biro, my purple JVC earphones and scratty little old black gloves to keep my poor hands warm that I'm now embarrassed to be in these photos as they seem to have bits on which I didn't realise until now.
My purse is by Ted baker, I always see people with these but never with this colour which I think is just so pretty. I often stuff it so full that it doesn't close because that's where I like to keep all my junk a.k.a receipts but it holds a hell of a lot. My phone is an iPhone 4 with a Tory Burch phone case on it, I bought the case from Shopbop here months ago but it's now on sale.
I'm using the Lanolips Rose Balm Intense hand cream at the moment for my dry winter hands, it's good but it's not the best one I've used and admittedly I usually swear by L'Occitane but I'm trying to use a few up in my stash before buying any more. I never leave the house without perfume on and take whatever I'm wearing that day around with me, Jo Malone's Blue Agava and Cocao Cologne is my signature scent at the moment so it's only right that that's stashed away proudly in my bag. It's just a beautiful unique creamy chocolate, lime and musk fragrance which I've talked about more in depth here. I'm a fan of face mists and yes I love the Caudalie Beauty Elixr which I'm sure I'll be repurchasing again soon but for now I'm loving just spritzing this L'Occitane Essential Water Face which really refreshes, softens and gives me a lovely glow. A Figs & Rouge lip balm is always in my bag, this is a mini one of the cherry & vanilla scent and it's just a lovely organic lip balm which works far better than vaseline ever could. This Une Cherry Lip Gloss in C02 is absolutely beautiful and by far my favourite lip gloss at the moment, it's non-sticky, smells beautiful and the colour is just lovely, not to mention Une are 100% natural and are easily accessible in Boots. And of course lastly I have the obligatory hair bobble in there for bad hair days.
